Plant Growth Promoting AEROSPHERE Microbes

PGPA : Plant Growth Promoting AEROSPHERE Microbes.

Introduction: PGPA is a microbial consortium of bio pesticides, bio fungicides and other beneficial microbes for improving above root zone environment i.e. Aerosphere. The bio pesticides, bio fungicides help in controlling various plant diseases and pests. Some beneficial microbes control Nematodes and Termites and release various plant growth promoters.

Active ingredients: Bascillus sp + Trichoderma sp + Pseudomonus sp + Beauveria sp + Verticillum sp + Paecillomyces sp + Metarhizium sp.

Preparation: Mix 1 Kg of PGPA powder + 1/2 Kg of Starter in 200 Litres of water. Stir well daily and keep it for 5 – 7 days for fermentation.

Dosage : 1 to 2 Kg i.e. 200 to 400 litres per acre depending on the age of the crop. Spray the prepared solution as such on the plant covering top and lower surface of the foliage (Foliar Spray). The application of PGPA should be done in advance before the plant is infested with pests and diseases. For best results avoid use of any pesticides and fungicides before or after 10 days of application.

Benefits:
i. Restore plant growth in full vigour.

ii. Helps in reducing the harmful microbes, fungal pathogens, and pathogenic insect population in their larval stages it self and increases the beneficial microbial and insect population. (Controls Bacterial Leaf Blight, Leaf rollers, shoot borers, fruit borers, sucking pests and Banana wilt.)

iii. Reducing the need of harmful chemical sprays in farming esp. in vegetable cultivation. Alternate application of PGPA and BMC every 20 days will give good results. Paddy, all Hort. crops especially Lemon, Banana and Vanilla yields well with the regular application of PGPA.
